Simple meatballs and pasta!

Balls of Italia....

Not the Ikea ones (no need to improve perfection!). No, today I am going to show you how to make simple meatballs and pasta! Please note that the ones that I have included in this picture are NOT actually my HOME MADE ones, no these are roasted garlic ones that can be bought from Asda if you are feeling lazy. (Note- Sometimes lazy is good because those meatballs were freaking awesome!)

You Will Need:

A packet of Lean Beef Mince
A jar of Tomato pasta sauce
A Yellow Pepper
A Large Onion
2 Garlic Gloves

  • Chop the onion and slowly fry off
  • Place the mince into a bowl and add a splash of Wooster sauce
  • Crush the garlic and chop it as finely as possible
  • Add to mince and give a good mix
  • Add a little salt and pepper to taste and then shape into roughly 8 medium sized balls
  • Fry them off with the onion, until browned
  • Add the peppers and sauce and simmer for 20 minutes
  • Serve with Pasta and Garlic Bread
This is a really simple meal that feels like proper home cooked food. If you are really feeling active, you could make your own tomato sauce out of a jar of chopped tomatoes and a few spoonfuls of tomato puree. You could also add a handful of chopped chillies if you're after something spicy! Yum!

Cheers M'dears,
